Hi all, i am in need of some suggestions. I am 42 yo male, above knee amp (left), i'm trying to find ways to be active and lose weight. Currently i walk about 1.5k per day (weather permitting) swim in heated small hydrotherapy pool for about 20 mins twice a week, lift weights every second day for 1/2 hr or so. Hi Scott, I got an email from Glenn as well from here and he was willing to offer any answers to questions that I have. So far, I think I'm semi lucky with my prosthesis. It fits tight if I pull on the strap after standing up. Still, it's not something I enjoy wearing a lot. I'll look into crutches as I have a set of those. I was pretty much banged... more »
