Hi Scott,

I got an email from Glenn as well from here and he was willing to
offer any answers to questions that I have.  So far, I think I'm semi
lucky with my prosthesis.  It fits tight if I pull on the strap after
standing up.  Still, it's not something I enjoy wearing a lot.  I'll
look into crutches as I have a set of those.  I was pretty much banged
up after she hit me on my bike with her Honda Accord.  I'm surprised I
survived actually.  She did me no favors, but I'm doing well after being
at home and doing PT twice a week.  I'm walking with the aid of some
walking sticks (over long canes basically looks like a shower curtain
rod with rubber caps on both ends about 4 1/2 foot long).  She crunched
up a lot of bones and I had one stomach wound that is almost healed, but
not quite due to an infection I caught from somewhere.  Anyway, enough
about how I feel.

I read that there is some post surgery things I must do with my stump to
keep it healthy and clean, other than washing with mild soap?  Do you
know of any URL with information about that?  I know it says to look at
your incision site to make sure that doesn't get infected as well, but
so far, my stump seems to be in great shape.

Well, I won't go on.  Nice to meet you, Steve.  I'm doing okay, just had
a few questions.  Talk to you again sometime.
