It's been so long, since I was last in here; but I just wanted to stop by
and say thank you,to y'all. :-) I know a number of people, in this
group,were here for me,when I was posting here,about my Mom,Alzheimers
and her being in the nursing home, after she fell and broke her
hip,around 3 1/2 years ago.

I have had a tough time of it,with her not knowing me. As some say,it's
like the person is dead,in a way, before they die. And sorry to say, over
the last several months,I have treated Mom,as if she were already dead?
Not going to see her, etc. Feeling sorry for myself and all that. Then
something happened the other day. I met a cousin in town the other day
and he told me about a member of our family, who was sick and was said to
be in very bad shape. With my bad hearing,I mistook what he said and
thought he was talking about Mom! So,I got over to the nursing home
fast! Not knowing if she would be there or in the hospital? Turned out
it wasn't Mom and she was in a good mood. :-) Visited with Mom a
bit, before meeting up with a sister and finding out it had been an uncle
of ours that was sick and had passed away. But,it's good I met my
cousin,in town that day and had that misunderstanding. For it got me
back to going to see Mom. :-) And today, the plan is to go and see her
again, with my 2 sisters. I got Mom a little baby doll, for her Christmas
present. She likes those. :-)

The above misunderstanding I had,it got me to thinking. Thinking, that I
better enjoy what I can,while I can.

Love,
Ronny
