Somebody posted here that taking care of a loved one is heroic. Absolutely
it is. Anyone who has ever done it is a hero (or heroine) in my book.
It is the most difficult, but the kindest thing anyone can do.

I certainly agree with this type of heroic undertaking. People need to
remember that the caregiver does need some down time...
My FIRST Thanksgiving without my mom... Happy Thanksgiving to all here at
the Alzheimer's support group!

Thanks Elise...... The group has gone amazingly quiet since aol quit
carrying newsgroups, then even quieter yet when a lot of ISP's quit carrying
them. But some of us check in here regularly because sometimes someone
might drop in that could use some advice or support.
