So it's over. Let us pray to whatever divintiy there may be
(Constantine) that Obama wins. One more Republican and we may end up
with World War III.

Are you sure about that, Martin (?):

regime continues to press ahead with alleged plans for building an

president of the US, Senator Barack Obama told Aipac, America's most
powerful pro-Israel lobby, that he would do everything in his power to

that he was also trying to dispel the impression that he was soft on Iran,
it was strong language." ...

Hey everybody hope you all are well.

He has the right name to evoke blessing (Barak) upon America. Which
we (USA) could certainly use.

The cost of living here is begining to shake up a few folks. But I'm
not sure if our oil guzzling public yet understands that the war and
it's ramifications are making certain people very rich. Bush's
constituency, at the expense of so many others.

So far and as much as I know about it, Barak's fund raising is broad
based and supported by many, still not beholding to a small group of
powerful campaign contributors There may still be hope for the needs
of the many outweighing the needs of the few.

Take Care,

PS. The last conversation I had here with the chap showing up looking
for books with a Catholic approach to Islam remined me of the Nasrudin
story about his blanket being stolen by the two disputing thieves.

Obama has no record to speak of, so no one has any idea what he would do
if elected.

McCain has a record of being unpredictable, so no one knows what he
would do if elected.

In the musical, "Li'l Abner", there's a song with the refrain, "So long
as no one knows where no one stands
The country's in the very best of hands..."

It's a crapshoot, to be sure.

What this is, is a situation designed by the Perfect Order of the
Universe to help us with our task of trusting the Absolute.

Cute. Took me a while to get it translated.

I suppose it all depends on whether you believe in the Law of
Thermodynamics or the Zero Point Energy field...
