If the latter, that would take a special type of trained killer. Not
your everyday soldier. Soldiers killing soldiers worse then a mafia
proving their loyalty by these tests.

The circumstances of Deryk Schlessinger's lurid MySpace has not had
much scrutiny and only looks worse with the "family values"
connections to the Pentagon. In the opinion of many, it looks
suspicious and undeserved to award a radio performer weeks before the
Army cleared "the enemy" (they had immediately accused "the enemy" as
they destroyed evidence) in a case her son WAS NOT CLEARED. Nor his My
Space friends. Only a few media supporters have put out a Laura
Schlessinger trial "vindication", very mediocre. Deryk Schlessinger
has been forsaken by family and friends. Only the radio act and the
Army use him. It's part of the pro war propaganda. Fox News, Bill
O'Reilly and Tammy Bruce were Schlessinger's saviors one week, the
next she's hexed, a most revealing silence.
Deryk's mother uses him in the "I'm the proud mother of an American
paratrooper" routine.
All else appears he is infantry. Possibly they will give him a
promotion? Tillman was given an award. Laura Schlessinger, too. It
works in PR campaigns. While Deryk may not be a sniper yet, that might
be how the Army could use him. In any event, with all the connections
and the Army lacking mental health and criminal standards, it could be
worthwhile for todays military to train Deryk as a "loyal" sniper.
Laura Schlessinger can't be ignorant about the Afghanistan drug
realities, yet she plays dumb and spins the Bush more-wars song and
dance. All over the world. Simultaneous they ignore the heroin,
morphine and addiction plague on troops. Short changed on equipment,
intelligence and policies.
The world and USA will forget Deryk Schlessinger, except as his
"proud" mother's embellished "paratrooper". Drug addicted soldiers
will be a dirty secret until that can't be hidden any longer. More
snipers trained for "loyalty", more mysterious deaths and these deadly
distortions as long as these news black outs continue.

She pretty much says nothing. OAS would know how to do effective PR,
perhaps they were avoiding a bad scene in order to rightfully focus on
the real need? Schlessinger has a growing reputation as a glory hog
with little substance. See her Pentagon "award" that Mike Cash
deserved and was used for her to try and resurrect?
