The Maque just blew up a small power plant in the city you have been given
orders to wipe them out how would you do it?

Get on the Holo-net and ask Lord Vader to stop by for dinner, and maybe
kill some maguis after dessert?
Or just offer huge rewards for the capture of the maquis, and immunity
from prosecution for any maquis that turns in the other maquis, that
should start some infighting. Plus that might motivate some bounty
hunters to get involved.

Start by interrogating known Maquis sympathizers. Random
executions help, too.
Fear will keep the local population in line.

Comb the city with stormies. Meanwhile, order the stormies in the
likely sectors of the city to be very obvious, to distract attention
away from espionage droids sent there.
I do have floating fortresses, right? They are urban pacification
tools, after all. So, I'll have those be highly visible targets, to
draw out the Maque. The point is, 14 Maque out of 1.2 million people
is hard to find, so you have to draw them out.

random intervals between 1 and 5 minutes. Have a full lockdown of roads
and airways, and a full curfew. Have a few E-Webs on major intersections so
that covering fire can be brought to bear down 4 different streets. Turn
the city into a dead on, then wait for the maquis to move. Whent hey do,
load up as many guys as you can (probably about 1000 in groups of 50) and
get them moving in the area. Use orbital surveillance to track the maquis
and then take them down with massive raiding. Also, do we have anything
else, a squadron of TIE's, landspeeders, dewbacks, AT-PT and AT-STs?

hiding inside the garassion. Have the stormies try to go door to door to
find them in 2 squad strength. Put checkpoints on all exgress from the city
and have all the scout troopers & speeder bikes deploy around the city in
case they try to make a break for it. Send intel personal into the bars &
taverns to start spreeding the rumer that the garassion is now defended by a
single squad as all the stormies are out in the city.
If they attack the garrasion, have the company deploy and kill them. Else,
just keep searching.
OR
If you are hardcore imperial, execute 100 people, and say each hour the
number will double until the Maque give up unarmed.
Or the city is depopulated.

Order a collection of local citizens. Say, 1000 of them. Threaten
them with death if the Marquis don't turn themselves in. Use them as
bait to lure the Marquis out.
Allow them to escape with the prisoners (make sure you put some
obvious and not-so-obvious holes in your defenses, let out 'leaked
information', etc), but your surveillance systems capture their faces,
scents, DNA, heat signature, etc.
Crack out the scanning teams, track their movements for a week, and
capture them.
Nice and easy, with minimal casualties.

First is to have at least a thousand troopers made to look like Cardassians
and have their DNA changed to fool Marquee tricorder readings. Then send
them out in teams of 5, 10 and 20s into the city and have them go about and
cause a ruckus about Cardassian superiority and how the Marquee suck.
Once the bait is taken and the Marquee attempt to kill the
Cardassian\Stormtroopers, then have the troopers that would be secretly
stationed on most rooftops of low rising buildings show themselves and have
additional troops surround them in order to cut off their escape. If they
surrender then hold a city-wide meeting and publicly execute them by
chopping off their joints and vertebrae. But if they don't surrender then
have every trooper that have a clear shot to kill the Marquee.
