innocent, then I feel sorry for him. I'm very sensitive to those who
have been wrongly accused of things. However, if it had been a Trekkie
who had found himself in an identical circumstance, would he have
enjoyed the same support? In fact, let's take it a bit further. What if
instead of Chris, it was Timothy Jones, or Weyoun, or RSA? Would you
have had SDNers rallying to their defense? Would they have rounded up
collections to help with the legal bills? Would SDNers be talking fondly
about TOWNHBDTTM (The One Whose Name Has Been Dragged Through The Mud),
or Weyoun the Dancing Patsy? or Railroaded Scott Anderson? I doubt it.
Most likely what would happen is this. Within 5 minutes of the story
breaking, he would be immediately banned. The story would be plastered
all over SDN. He would be declared guilty then and there. Then he'd be
the subject of relentless ridicule and perverted, degrading fan fiction.
Then, when all was said and done, and he was found to be wrongly
accused, Wong and his band of fluffers would at best not admit to being
wrong and just drop discussion. At worst, they would continue to discuss
how he got away with murder, and refuse to lift the ban. I'm sorry, but
that's the reality of the situation.

acknowledged that he should never have been tried.
As for the ones you mentioned, they are trolls that noone, not even me
would shed a tear if they went to jail but if it happened the same to
them then I would not agree with the imprisonment but I would not be
upset about it.

I agree. I consider prosecutors to be predators in most cases. Like most
politicians, they are not to be trusted. They are a sick combination of
politician and lawyer. They hold power over people's lives, have no
accountabilityh and are ruthless in doing what they have to do to get
re-elected and satisfy their political agenda.

This is where you and I differ. For one, I quibble with calling all
three of them Trolls. Jones was not a Troll. He was an idiot, and a
stubborn bastard with lousy debating skills. Not a Troll. RSA was also
stubborn, but I feel he made several good points, and is right on a
number of things. He got on the bad side of a few powerful Warsies. That
was his downfall. He had kind of an unpleasant personality too, which
didn't help. He did not come to the group to cause mayhem. That is what
separates a Troll from someone who's just annoying. For example,
PROMETHEUS was a Troll. Weyoun? Yeah, he was a Troll. Second, and most
important however. This is where you and I differ. If they were wrongly
accused, it wouldn't matter WHAT their positions were that they held. I
would jump to their defense. In fact, although I detest Wong, Graeme
Dice, Stark and Goat Rider, I would do the same for them if they were
wrongly accused. I would be VERY upset if that happened to them. Because
more than I dislike them, I HATE abuse under color of athourity. I'm
sorry about what happened to Chris, and yes I'm being kind of an
asshole, but I'm trying to show the hypocracy in all this. I hope he
gets legal revenge on the prosecutor, judge and jurors who did that to
him. They need to all be in prison for that. But I just wanted to show
the double standard of Wong and his flock of fluffers.

For former prosecutor Mike Nifong, I shed not a tear over his being
disbarred and driven into bankruptcy, and I hope those players get
every penny of his and take even the clothes off his back for what he
did. I also hope that their suit against the city and it's police
department succeeds as well.

I'm getting fucking tired of these predatory prosecutors getting away
with these insane charges against children. There is a reason we have
two sets of courts. A couple of things should happen. One: They need to
make the threshold very, very high for trying a minor as an adult for
ANYTHING. It would have to be seriously egregious in order to do that.
Second, the whole sex offender registration needs to be reformed. There
is too broad of a brush as to what tars a person for life as a sex
offender. Public urination can put you on the list right next to a child
rapist. This demeans the seriousness of ACTUAL sex offenders. Third, USE
SOME FUCKING COMMON SENSE! A teen taking naked pictures of herself
should not be treated as child pornography! The pictures would qualify,
but she shouldn't be charged with a crime because of it! So now she'll
be labeled for life because of a stupid VICTIMLESS "crime". This needs
to be stopped. RIGHT NOW. Interestingly enough, the woman behind the
creation of Megan's Law is outraged at this. She blasted the prosecutors
in a statement saying that this child need counseling, not legal
trouble, and this is not what Megan's law was designed for.
A lot of these predatory prosecutors better be damn glad I'm not a
judge. I have a very, very low tolerance for bullshit. If one of these
prosecutors brought this nonsense into my courtroom, I'd throw out the
case with prejudice, order all fingerprints, mugshots and arrest records
destroyed, then I'd fine the prosecutor's office and order them to pay
court costs. I'd also tell him/her/it that if they brought that crap
into my courtroom again I'd hold them in contempt. Abuse of the law
rankles me to no end.
