Intro to "Blood Ties" (TOS/AU, S/Ch, Sa, Am, Vulcan OCs, K, Mc; h/c, anx [PG13])

the
sequel to "Something to Remember" (this can be found on my site under
"Spock and Christine stories", for those who need to refresh their
memories, although it hasn't been that long since I posted that
here). It's an epic-length work that ran over 200 pages as a zine
(with art); there are 26 chapters, with most divided into subsections
for posting.
It's a S/Ch story that commences 6 months after the first story, with
Spock
and Christine now married and expecting their first child. They go
back to
Vulcan for a clan gathering being held at Sarek and Amanda's home so
that
Christine can be presented for acceptance by the clan, and that's
where the
trouble starts. It's set mostly on Vulcan and features the usual
suspects
(Spock, Christine, Kirk, McCoy, Sarek and Amanda), as well as a whole
host of Vulcan OCs--so far, the most I've ever tried to juggle in one
story, and
yes, you may need a scorecard to keep track of them (as well as the
plots
and subplots). :^)
