USS CIRCE: Back Home
POSTED BY: Federico Colnago as CDR Elieth
STARDATE: 220210.1236 UTC
MD: 6.0010
SCENE: Arrowhead Facility
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You there, move away!" Lieutenant Jonsdottir screamed pointing at a
Petty Officer seemingly lost in the middle of an open space. "Damn you,
are you planning on becoming part of that shuttle landing gear?!?" She
cried out again in frustration.

Elieth moved to the side of the young Icelanding officer. For the past
three hours she had been in charge of organizing the movement of both
those on the ground and coming down from the sky. She had done an
impressive job so far, but she could sense that a certain level of
tiredness and stress were taking over her now.

"Impressive job you're doing here, Lieutenant." She reassured her.

"I'll be glad if I manage to finish all this without anyone getting
smashed by and incoming shuttle, Commander. But the worst should be over
soon." She pointed at a shuttle which was just about to close his read
doors and to take off. "That is the last one. The wounded are all
already on CIRCE and so are most of the Marines."

"Excellent," Elieth commented. "What about our precious Commander
DelBraye?"

Erika pointed with her index left finger up to the sky. "Up there with
the first emergency transport available, sir. Beamed directly to sickbay
for what I know."

"I will hold you responsible were I to find her among crates in a Cargo
Bay, then."

The Lieutenant grinned. "I'm confident that won't be the case."

"Very good then. I've just received news from CIRCE they are in need of
breaking orbit soon. We're to leave the rest of the equipment down here
and prepare to be beamed up asap."

Lieutenant Jonsdottir frowned a little while looking around at the
pieces of equipment still on the ground. Evidently feeling that by
leaving something behind she was somehow failing her purpose there.

"Don't worry, Lieutenant," Elieth added while following her gaze around,
"I doubt we won't find all these crates still here in a little while."

She then tapped her badge. "Commander Elieth to CIRCE, all the personnel
on the surface is ready to beam up. Energize when ready."

[[Understood. Stand by.]]

Elieth took a last look around, relieved to be leaving.

MD: 6.0015
SCENE: Transport Room 1, USS CIRCE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as the blue halo of the transporter faded away, the pulsing of
the CIRCE warp core filled her from her feet up. It was more than a
welcome feeling. Immediately, she felt the urge to get rid of the armor
and the combat gear she was still carrying and get in a clean uniform.

It was like her mind was suddenly and quickly switching back to a more
normal state of operation. Familiar settings to move in again.

Her right eye caught a glimpse of a small fluffy creature peaking from
behind a partition in a dark corner of the transporter room. She didn't
manage to make out exactly what it was, but she didn't need to.

Apparently also Xy'thil the Sloogi was happy to see her back in more
familiar settings. She raised her right eyebrow, hoping only the small
creature was going to notice it.

"Glad to have you aboard again Commander." The transporter technician
said.

"Likewise is good to be back home, Chief," she said while stepping off
the transporter platform. "A pleasure to have worked with you, Lieutenant,"
she added looking at Lieutenant Jonsdottir. "Maybe we'll find a way to
meet in less critical circumstance in the future."

She saw her nodding back, while making her way out of the transporter
room still using her phaser rifle to help her walking. An intermediate
stop at her quarters to change uniform and replicate a more sensible
walking help mean was needed, then there was going to be a much needed
debriefing with Captain T'Silva.

Elieth was reassured to see CIRCE had found a way to get rid of her
intruder, but she was definitely curious as to how.

"Elieth to Captain T'Silva," she said after tapping her badge.

[[T'Silva here.]]

"I'm back on board sir, the surface is clear of all personnel. Only
minor equipment left there. If for you it's fine, I'll be on the bridge
in about 15 minutes for you to debrief me. I need a change of uniform
and a more standard walking stick first."

[[Glad to have you back on board, Commander. I'll see you on the bridge,
T'Silva out.]]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NRPG: I've reset the MD: 5.24.. to 6.00..

The XO is back on board, and so is the rest of the personnel that was
down on Arrowhead. This should let CIRCE 100% free to break orbit
without any worries if needed be.

@Susanne: I'm heading for the bridge. I'm leaving for Tokyo in a bunch
of hours, but I'll pop you the beginning of a JP when I'll be at my
hotel there for a debriefing between Elieth and T'Silva, and to make a
bit the point :)

Respectfully submitted,
Federico Colnago
