Don't buy Martin!
|
| |
If you're considering which moving lights to buy, don't include Martin in your consideration. If you're considering which console to buy, especially do NOT consider getting a Maxxyz! Everyone I've encountered who has been around one has had bad experiences with it. Worst of all there is no support from the manufacturer. If you call them with a problem,... more »

Led lamp selection help
|
| |
Hello all. Being completely in the dark as to lighting issues, I am seeking some advice in replacing my Par 56 cans with LED's. Currently I use 8 56's on 2 trees to light the stage for a 4 pc. weekend warrior rock band, on small club stages, a couple times a month. Advice needed on Theater Software
|

I've been looking at a 3d program called Open Stages, which looked at first like an excellent way to model stages, design the workspace shape and dimansions, with flies, lights, set pieces, etc. but on closer examination it seems "powered down", only 8 lights possible, no library of 3d set pieces or actors.... more »

??? about locked NSI MC7532 lighting console
|
| |
We're using an NSI MC7532, and when the LD went to record some scenes the other day a message came up: Setup parameters are locked Enter keycode: 0000 How did it get locked? Neither the light guy nor myself did it deliberately, and no one else should have any interest in doing it. The manual says: If the console is locked, then a key code will have to... more »

"Pink" stage wash opinions please

|
| |
Hi, I have gotten into what has become an insane disagreement with someone I work with over whether or not using "pink"--actually magenta--gel in the downstage wash makes people on stage look "gay". To me that thought is never even going to enter most people's minds, and those whose mind it does enter have a bit of a problem and are in the vast minority.... more »

229.76.94.233:7358 open socks4 proxy was used on 20 November for a Hipcrime attack on nanae. And I got the port number by Googling so it must have been open and was probably abused before that date. It was used late North American Monday for a Hipcrime attack on 24hoursupport.helpdesk and the same open proxy was still there Tuesday... more »
