Albanian international Lorik Cana is expected to join Everton from
Marseille in a 10 million euro deal according to reports in France on
Sunday.
The 25-year-old midfielder was left out of Marseille's friendly on
Friday and it seems that was to protect him from injury ahead of a
move to Gooidon Park.
Cana has been expected to join Bundesliga side Hamburg, but it seesm
Everton have made a better offer to both the French club and the
player.
Cana is a tough-tackling midfielder, who will add considerable bite to
the Everton midfield.
Marseille have give Cana the chance to leave after new boss at the
Stade Velodrome Didier Deschamps decided to sign Stephane Mbia from
rennes to play in Cana's role.
M'Bia was also a target for Everton
