I'm guessing it was the article I read.

I think the controversy over Kipper and Keenan in Calgary is a
fascinating soap opera. According to the Sun in pulling Kipper...

"The players were furious with the move, the Sharks found it laughable
and Kiprusoff's frustrated reaction was more terse than usual. Nice
way to end the season."

Were the Sharks laughing? I think that's a stretch. That article was a
bit tabloid for me

I'm not a Shark but I was laughing. It seemed like a stupid move - put
in a cold goaltender halfway through a game right when the Sharks are
dominating. That goal 2 minutes later was predictable, I thought, and
a goalie who'd been properly warmed up wouldn't have been that stiff
enough to miss that save.

He linked the cover...the Sun has those NY Post-style "the sky is falling
and aliens ate my baby" covers.

Well, when they were down 3 goals before, he put in Cujo and
completely shut them down. I think he was maybe trying to get in the
Sharks heads again, and they were getting vastly outshot at that
point. So I can maybe see pulling him.

Now, the press conference afterwards where Keenan heaped a lot of
blame on Kipper really showed a lack of class.

Yeah, but there's a big difference between pulling the goalie a few
minutes into the game, and halfway through the second during a period
of Shark domination.

Yeah. Your team allowed 30 shots in less than 2 periods, you have far
more people to blame before you get to the goalie.
