Thanks for that. I had already found a great high quality feed, not
that being down 4-1 after the first period is making it worthy of
itself. <switching over to Giants/Vikings> For the first time ever:
"Go Giants!"

Now 4-3. This isn't a pretty one.
4-3 Sens right now. Where you going so soon?
Rick
4-4.
I'm glad I didn't turn it off. I was tempted.
The Giants were getting pounded so I came back to watch the game get
tied up. 3 unanswered goals, gotta love that!

It was a period break. I tend to watch the games to the very end no
matter the score.
Good to see you're back. I was beginning to think they weren't going to
take a shot on the 5-3 then Richards nailed it. Maybe he should play
point on all PPs.

Oooops.

And it only took him three sticks to get it right.

I just knew that fucker Kovalev was going to get a hat trick.
He's a Flyer killer for sure.
was hoping they would have squeaked into OT and grabbed a point. not
happening
In the 1 out of 10 ten games when he actually shows up. The biggest
waste of $5 million in cap space in the NHL.

You mean Carter?
Rick
Funny thing is, even after Kovalev has scored four today, he's still
only got 11 on the season. And Carter will never be the biggest waste
of cap space as long as Daniel Briere is on his deal...
Pelle
Pelle
Danny's deal is just an albatross around the Flyers' neck.

What is it that motivates players to turn in their best games against the
Flyers? Is he looking to be traded to the Flyers and wanted to see how
much pain he could inflict on the fightless Flyers? Also, how many shots
did the Flyers give up right in front of the net point blank? That is a
failure on the players part to execute a system that puts defense first.
What a dissapointment. I hope these fuckers spend the next two hours
getting their ears full and miss the flight out of Ottawa. The Sens
owned the Flyers in this game. I'm not sure what it is about the NHL
officiating but no 2 games are the same. We talk about accountability
with the players to the team, but how about the officials to the League?
Todays non-calls would have to be the blatant interference. It reminded
me of an old Devils game before the rule changes. Picks, clutching and
grabbing late hits, blocking... The Sens succesfully trapped the Flyers
into turning aver about 75% of every possesion. Carle looked horrible on
a couple of plays when he ran out oc ice and couldn't make a pass,
Bartulis doesn't belong in the NHL, he looked terribly shaken, Pronger
has had his better games. The only hard working players on the ice
seemed to be the Powe and Giruox lines. In a word...embarassing.
Rick
6.35M. 4.5 more seasons to go...unless he sufferes a career ending injury,
not that I'd wish that on him, but I don't normally wish long term
contracts to non-performing injury prone players against the home team
either.

Was Parent in the game? I didn't notice if he was.
Rick
Just to increase the agony...Briere has 5.5 seasons left, not 4.5.
Pelle
But *hey*...looks like the Flyers only have to pay him 2 Million in actual
cash that season. hehe, he's going to feel ripped off. :|

Why were you rooting for the Giants?

Playoff placing, but the Eagles blew it anyway.
