Islanders played a solid 52 minutes and had a 3-0 lead tonight against the Bruins. Last year's team showed up for the last 8 min and after the Bruins scored their first goal, you could see the Islanders tense up. Played well in OT, and then lost in SO 2-1 jerry

Played well most of the game. Both Ottawa's goals were a bit fluky. They showed a lot of grit coming back from down 2-0. Figured that they would lose in shootout, but it didn't get that far :-( jerry

Well, I've got to admit after watching last night I have dreams of a very good future. Not playoff contention this year, but definitely headed in the right direction. Weird goal by Pittsburgh late to tie the score, and then the fire power that they have for a shootout put it away. Tavares had 20+ shifts in his first game - centering the #1 line.... more »
