One meal that has proved popular and easy to make in a short period of
time is the omelette. The following paragraphs should prove
informative for those wanting to know how to make an omelette. As to
your ingredients, you need to have 8 eggs, a tablespoon of vegetable
oil, olive oil, peppers, aubergines, 15 grams of butter, salt and
pepper.

There are several utensils you will have to make use of as well. You
will need a large bowl, a large, non-stick frying pan with a diameter
of ten inches, a grill, a spatula and a fork. Now that all the
materials are outlined, below you will find how the omelette itself is
actually cooked using these ingredients and materials.

To begin with, crack the eggs and pour them in the bowl, then sprinkle
them with the salt and pepper. Moderately heat up the frying pan and
put the butter and oil in to this pan. Let them simmer and tilt the
pan occasionally so that the resultant grease will cover the sides as
well as the base of the pan. While this is ongoing, use the fork to
beat those eggs in the large bowl.

With respect to the aubergines and peppers, these should be chopped.
They should then be drizzled in olive oil and roasted for 30 minutes.
Once your pan is sizzling with fat, the aubergines and peppers should
be put in the pan.

These vegetables should then be covered by the beaten eggs. Indeed,
the pan bottom should be covered by the eggs. The temperature used for
this pan should be lowered while the cooking is in progress.

The eggs should be cooked until they have set, then the spatula should
be used to raise the edges of your omelette on the sides of your pan.
The same pan is to be tilted once more to let the uncooked eggs drain
to its base. Cooking should continue until the food begins to brown.

The grill should now be preheated while your food is browning. Once
this is done, move the pan onto the grill and leave it there for five
minutes, by which time the omelette will have set properly. Now you
know how to make an omelette, and here is how to serve it. Slice it
into wedges and serve them hot or cold, though this depends on what
you prefer (it should be added that hot is the recommended way).

When you learn how to make an omelette you can quickly have a low
calorie and high nutrition meal. Make an omelette as the basis of your
cooking repertoire.
