We had a big cultural change in Ireland today. Bertie Ahern has
resigned in disgrace. My message to Bertie:
"You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart,
I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go."
He was only a small player in the Peace Process. Gerry Adams, Ian
Paisley, David Trimble, John Hume, Albert Reynolds, Tony Blair,
Senator George Mitchell and President Clinton all played a more
crucial role in the Peace Process. Any other Irish politician could
have done what Bertie did. They are all similar. We don't need corrupt
politicians like Bertie !
