Packer Fan Offers Condolences On The Death Of Sammy Baugh

You Redskin fans have my condolences. Sammy Baugh has passed away.
Maybe the greatest Redskin of them all. One of the greatest NFL
players of all time.

I know off the top of my head that Baugh would routinely lead the NFL
in passing, intercept the most passes, and lead the league in
punting, ... in the same season. He was a charter member of the NFL
Hall of Fame. Most of his punting records were not broken until the
1970s.

If you guys don't know who Sammy Baugh was, go live in another
country! :-)

Sammy Baugh was the greatest Redskin of all time. I saw an interview
with him, when he was at least 80 years old. The way he told the stories
was truley comical.
In one of his games, he threw for 4 touchdowns, and had 4 int's. That
is a simply amazing performance. He led the league in punting a number
of years, and had many passing records.
imagine a ball player today playing three different posistions in the
same game? Look at baseball. A pitcher gets close to 100 pitches, and
the bullpen starts warming up.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could go to work, and your boss says, after
6 hours, take the rest of the day off, you've done enough. I watched
your work count, and it's getting pretty high, so we're bringing in the
reliever.
