So the complaint has been, herein, that it's the off-season and there's not much to say.

Well, there is and there isn't, maybe.

It's not strictly speaking football, but it was news and it does relate to the team, manly, and when the Congressional representative from American Samoa introduced a bill to ban trademarks that contain the "R-word" it makes people sit up and take notice.

Snyder did, after all, and his humble acolyte, Bruce Allen, did too.

So, what do you think? Shouldn't it be changed? Tony Kornheiser said once the logo could be a potato. Personally I would like to hear, if it's so "unracist" and Snyder is so darned nice about it, being on personal terms with everyone, he then went out of his way to sign a deal to hold training camp in the former capital city of the Confederacy... What's next for him, returning the phrase "Fight for old Dixie" to the lyrics of the team fight song!?!!!

Yeah, it's all of that,and yet over in the Washington Post, in the comment section after every article or reflection about it all, there's a steady little campaign going on to take on the newspaper for even bringing it out in the open.

So has Cindy Boren, and Mike Jones too, I believe. (Even Kornheiser back in the early 90s wrote that the logo should be a potato.) However, there is the usual very active right-wing comment group trying to drown them out, making out the Post has a vendetta against Snyder, and so on. In the end it's but a diatribe against journalism, and journalists per se, though...
