sounds great, he gave them that last year.
This is the guy who hammered the Skins for not drafting Gabbert a couple
years ago, who sucks royally.
He doesn't know shit, obviously

Draft grades at this point are silly.

That's very true. But overall, I like the Skins picks. I particularly intrigued by the TE, Joran Reed. When you think about it, Griffin really doesnt have a great receiving corps and since there are no WR's at that point in the draft worth considering, Reed was probably the best choice in the receiving realm. Only Davis and Garcon are truly "good", the rest of receiving corps is pretty much role players. I'm hoping Hankerson can have a break-out year. He did well last year in his first full season and maybe has the stuff to develop into a true #2 WR. The FSU RB who had an injury history is also an interesting pick. It appears Helu has not fully recovered from his injury and there is a great need for a 3rd down/change of pace RB. This guy apparently has blazing speed too, which Morris does not.

==================

I'm pulling for the kid Jamison they drafted out of Rutgers in the 7th
round. He left school early because his father was killed in a car accident
recently and his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. His
family needs money, so I hope he has the stuff to make it.

The Washington Post gave the Skins a B in the draft. The 49'rs a B+
and Jerrah a C minus. Realisticly it will be a few years to judge
this and last years draft. I'm just happy to see the Skins relevant
again!!

Overall, I like this draft, only because everybody was chosen at about the right spot. Except Phillip Thomas, who fell much further than expected and might turn out be a great value pick. There were some that thought the 'skins should have picked him at 51.

If Reed can learn to block better, he would be useful for creating mis-matches, and gives the team leverage next year when Davis needs another new contract. I'm going to make another thread on the WRs.

More backs are always good. You need them for pre-season, if they make the team just for Special Teams work, that's fine, and more speed is always better.
