I think too much blame for washouts and or players that never live up to expectations is placed on the coach or GM that selects them... If an NFL team/executive is considering drafting a prospect...there is only so much to look at beyond the conbine...college and high school film...background, scholastic and injury/medical checks etc. etc etc...what else is there that a team can look at that will... more »

Wow - what an interesting case. The paper today says Shanahan will have complete authority of all players concerns. From the way it sounded to me that means which ones come in and which ones go.
