Lost in the Jimmy G knee is the sidelining of Richard Sherman. He was limping noticeably. McKinnon, Garoppolo, Sherman, those will be costly injuries in more ways than one.

A mild calf injury? He looked like he needed help when he left the
stadium. Has he performed well in the first three games?

As compared to what? The other DBs sometimes look like the Keystone Kops.

He's supposed to be the elder statesman, the teacher who shows them
how to play. Exum showed them what to do today. He picked Rivers for a
TD.
