21 free agents?

Hyde? He's not worth a big contract, not even close. Between his foot
injury and his current shoulder injury, he's got too sketchy an injury
history to invest big contract money in him.

Check out the list and think about who you would extend or let go.

While I might agree, I suspect they will extend him with a nice contract.
The problem is they can't possible fill all their needs either through the
draft or with free agent signings. And if somehow Baalke survives, he has
proven he has no clue how to fill the holes.

What a mess Trent Baalke has made. The 49ers have fallen behind,
way behind, in the NFL.

Time to catch up. If Baalke lasts thru the offseason, all bets are off
on catching up though.

Seems like many "experts" thought that the bye week might a good time for a
change.

49ers are among the top 3 in cap room. The other two teams are
Cleveland and Jacksonville.

Boy having all that cap room is great.

Meanwhile, RBs you never heard of are gashing the 49ers defense. How
about signing some NTs and ILBs in free agency?

After Trent Baalke leaves, of course.

It's just like the days when teams like Tampa Bay and the Cards
had high draft picks every year and never got any better. Now
thanks to the Yorks the 49ers are one of those teams. And will
remain so until the Dorks *sell*. Even firing Jed is not sufficient
because John will still own the team that he ran into the ground
even before he turned it over to his drooling son.

Talk about misery loves company. Cleveland, Jacksonville and the
Niners. All with big cap space and all bottom feeders in the NFL.

Great idea, let's see if Baalke or his replacement do something about
that. The upcoming draft class "looks" well stocked with linebackers.
