Fixed it for ya.
They did something you would never do. They left the comfortable
environment of earth when journied to the moon. You just sayed back
on earth and whined about it.
The went to a movie studio, then some of them went in to earth orbit.

It appears as though you nailed it my friend. :-)
did anyone see the video that some guy did (I forgot the name and I'm
too lazy to check it out) that basically destroyed that nutbars theory
about how we didn't go to the moon? In it, the guy (the guy who got
punched) tried to claim that NASA used the same scenes for different
events, when in reality what he did was take the video from different
events and replace the audio from it, with audio from a different
event. Thereby making them appear to be NASA using the same 'scenery'
for two different locations on the moon.
Bart Sibrel exposure of footage of scenery being re-used by NASA and
staging different events at the same site but claiming it to be a
different area was pretty convincing to me. He also showed how there
were stage items like a paper mache rock with the roman letter 'c'
sclupted in to it in plain sight so that the crews would be reminded
which set they were filming.
I liked the music video award winner on the same link, with the rock
band song asking the question 'did we really go to the moon. Are there
really human boot prints on the moon. Tell me the truth, this really
the first time most people reading this thread have heard critical
questions being asked about the moon landings.

Yeah, yeah...
And there's a clear picture of a face on Mars too.
I have studied the evidence for the ruins of an advanced civilization
on Mars. Have you looked at the evidence?

No, my ongoing search for Bat Boy has been keeping me too busy.

A classic. :-)

Retard.
But genius: the guy is a mark for any crackpot conspiracy theory, truly
the least skeptical human being on earth. You have to recognize such
single- (and simple-)mindedness.
Although it requires a massive leap of faith to think he's for real, you
have to think he's a cartoon character making fun of the nether regions
of the political left.

Yeah, like the political left has a stranglehold on conspiracy theories? How
do you feel about the birthers, Gary? How about the decidedly rightwing NRA
telling all their members, of which I used to be one and still to this day
get the newsletter, that Barack Hussein Obama wants to take away all our
guns and make us kneel down and kiss his ring? Ever read some of the letters
to the editor that show up in some of the rightwing magazines? Blogs?
Political left.... feh...
> Political left.... feh...
the political left (as far as conspiracies and hate mongering, etc)
just isn't organized enough to even come close to competing with the
right loonies.
Even "liberals" make fun of the loonie left.
Hell, when was the last time you saw anyone of note on the left, say
some of the shit Limbaugh, Hannity, Liddy, Bauchman (?) or Man Coulter
says?
In addition when was the last time you heard the term 'conservative'
used as a slight or insult like the term "liberal" is?
conspiracies are evident in both sides, but it's much more prevalent
in the right loons than the left loons.
Seems like a honest mistake to me. Espeically if he did not have
access to the the raw NASA footage. Are you saying he redubbed sound
tracks to try and hoax the view or are you saying he used footage that
was not the raw footage and the soundtracks were miss applied before
Sibrel got a hold of the video? What about the claims he makes about
the rocks with Roman letters on them?
You are attacking me as a person for asking honest questions because I
don't share your orthox views on several subjects.
I think they say "breeders" jeff.

I believe in the law of the conservation of lunacy. There is always
the exact same percentage of loons on the left as on the right. They
are counterbalanced by the top and bottom loons and the whole thing is
balanced on top of a giant turtle.
Of course, you've never heard of this law before because THEY'VE kept
it from you.

One way or the other the clips are faked, either he did so or he used them.
Seems like he should not believe stuff and use it to promote his claims
without verifying it. Being hoaxed himself or creating hoaxes for his
claim a moon hoax is sad either way.
Does not matter to the point which was 'do not be convinced by them'.

Fool me once...
Ya know, for someone who claims to be skeptical, you're awfully easy
to convince.
and if not for shear and total boredom, you probably wouldnt have
answered his post... :-)

I agree with the "law". The right loons are louder though (and more
organized), and therefore more acceptable by the main stream.
The loony left (ALF, ELF, etc) are so far fringe that no one cares
about them. But the loony right uses the mainstream left ideology as
proof of a loony left.
Much in the way I might be accused of doing that with the loony right.
But the loony right dominates the conservative mindset, whereas the
loony left (the real loony left) doesn't dominate the liberal
mindset.
But the fear of the loony left (as portrayed by the right) dominates
the loony right's airwaves. And their own strangeness isn't addressed
by the loony left (either real or imagined) because they're a silent
group.
There is no bully-pulpit for the loony left, as there is for the
right. no voice, no face, nothing.
excellently said...
People know who Bart Sibrel is because he's raised important questions
that are not going away, but as skepticism is being applied the doubts
are growing. The video itself said that Bart didn't have the resources
to gain access to the raw NASA footage and I know James Collier was
stopped by the NASA museum in Houston from even measuring the hatch to
the LEM which he says was too small for the astronauts in their
inflated suits to get through. Now I know the LEM didn't even have an
airlock so supposedly when the astronauts went in and out of the LEM
17 times a day all the air escaped, every time and they didn't bring
enough air for the hours they spend on the moon. These are questions
the should be asked and should be studied. The USA is loosing
credibility every day because its system is failing economically and
the horrible things the modern Nazis do to people, the genocidal wars
of mass murder, the gulag prison system, executives receive one third
of all pay in America. I think the shine is coming off and people are
starting to ask questions and the back slapping and slack jawed wonder
and hero worship of the jock astronauts has faded. It's an
extraordinary claim they are making. Can it hold up to scrutiny? If
they did accomplish the great feats they claim; no harm is done by
explaining the science. Just think of the punch to the grill Uncle Sam
would get if their claims of superiority are found to be bluster and a
hoax on science.
Then he should not put himself out as an expert source.

"One can back engineer an answer having some empirical knowledge,
and make it sound like truth, while hiding the true mechanism in
the false explanation.
As official as it may sound, it doesn't make it truth, regardless
of the number of people that believe it, or the amount of
anecdotal evidence involved."
i never thought i would get so much out of this thread...
sheesh, you just never know...
its just to bad the old geezer didnt have enough
to put the guy down... :-)
Possibly -- although I'm plotting how to dicker with DKV Joventut to
reduce Ricky Rubio's buyout, trying to hire a coach, looking for cap
limited teams with good young players to exchange for any of several
expiring contracts, cheifin' on de kill and who knows what.
Actually, I'm a bit of a space nut and actually worked for as a
contractor at NASA. I've seen far too much to even begin to consider
that the moonshot was a hoax.
Our pal skepticl1 is like the boy who cried Wolf -- if he ever
actually is right, no one would bother to listen.
I think that what we see on the "right" is a confluence of the
political loons with the Christian (and to a lesser extent Jewish)
loons. Two big giant blocks of loons which generally represent the
"haves" -- whether it is economically or socially or culturally
"having." This big block is constantly on edge that they are losing
something, or having something taken away from them, call them the IF
SOMETHING ISN'T DONE WE'RE GOING TO BE FUCKED AND IT'S ALREADY
STARTED. The vast majority of people just a little to the right of
center think "I'm doing pretty good, but I guess it's good that those
guys are watching out for danger."
The left is more fractured -- what's the old joke about the liberal
firing line being a circle? So the eco-loons can't agree with the
marxist/anarchist loons who detest the new age loons. Not to mention
the tussling between identity politic groups -- the african americans
vs the latinos vs the lgbt vs the feminists. These groups represent
the point of view that WE'VE ALREADY BEEN FUCKED AND IT'S GETTING
WORSE. (as for faces, how about Ralph Nader and Denis Kucinich) The
majority of liberals think "darn it, look at how bad things have gone
for these various groups of people, we should all try to do better."
There is no future for this system. It can't be reformed. It's either
a horrible end, or an end to the horror. Buck the beast!
