You've got the money and the accolades. What's left for you?

"The Hall of Fame. I want to be a Hall of Famer. When I get done with this game, I don't want to get ran out of the NFL. I want to be at the top of my game. I want to be the best back in the league every year that I'm in the league."

If you had to choose between the Hall of Fame and a Super Bowl ring, what would you choose?

"If I choose Hall of Fame speech, everyone's going to feel like I'm selfish, but then again if I choose Super Bowl, then I'm kind of not going to reach my goal. But I feel if I get my Super Bowl ring, it'll be a better chance of me making the Hall of Fame."

Another self-centered selfish...I, me, my, NFL athlete......what a
shock.

All they're doing is convincing me that the hall of fame is nothing
more than a marketing tool for the greedy as it becomes an ever bigger
thorn in coaches and GMs efforts to build championship teams.

WHAT? That made no sense.

The Hall Of Fame says you are one of the best to ever play the game. A superbowl ring says you were one of 50 guys who were on the best team one year. Who was a better QB Dan Marino or Trent Dilfer? LT, Marino, Fouts, Seau and dozens of others gave up their body and soul in search of the superbowl. While I am sure basking in the glow of an amazing superbowl run would be great I would bet being imortalized alongside the greatest of all time would be better.

My comments were directed at the subject title as much as the content.
LT was given an or choice...not and/or...and he chose the HoF over a
championship.

All this dances around the real question....of when the two goals
don't align...when the RB demands touches (or pouts as his running
team becomes a passing team)for his total yards stats to enhance his
HoF chances while impacting the overall team performance....his goal
becomes a detraction from what I think is every fans goal.
