No, every call will not be perfect. What will happen is we'll have
fewer phantom PI calls, and fewer five minute discussions.

And there will now be a group of people in the stadium that actually
know the rules. I think the one, single item that became glaringly
apparent was that league officials do not have a working knowledge of
the rulebook. The game officials actually study it in order to pass
examinations in order to qualify for working actual games. Without that
knowledge ready at a moments notice, chaos ruled. After Monday night's
game in Seattle both sides came under intense pressure to settle that
mounted by the second.

If I was a head coach, I might consider warning my team about personal
fouls for this weekend's games.

Since one of the biggest criticisms of the replacement refs was that they
lost control of games and allowed far too many altercations, there is the
possibility that the refs will crack down to make a point.

From the talking heads that try to fill the 7/24 cycle, it almost
sounds like the real refs are soon to gain "first responder" status.
