DFM: Pay attention to the quote from an NFL source on Rivers not being
patient, making stupid decisions and maybe isn't paying attention to
Norv anymore. That is very troubling and in line with what I have seen.
Rivers has regressed the past two seasons without an established ground
game to keep defenses honest. Now that the offensive line is in taters
it is now just a matter of time before AJ gets the heave ho and then
Norv right behind him.

Men I’d rather see coaching the Chargers than
Norv Turner:

Oregon’s Chip Kelly: Would be a bold, innovative stroke, meaning he
won’t even be vetted by Bolts.

ESPN analyst Jon Gruden: Said an NFL source, “He’s a crazy man, he’s
weird, untrustworthy, selfish.” Which explains why he coached the Raiders.

Bill Cowher: With that scowl, a photographer’s dream. Officials
introduce saliva guards.

Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy: Might help Philip Rivers revert
to Philip Rivers. “Monday night, Rivers got impatient and made some
stupid, stupid decisions,” said the NFL source. “I wonder if Norv’s
message isn’t getting through anymore.”

Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley: Defense wins football games
and Seahawks allowing second fewest points in the league.

Norv successor, sound-bite division

Dennis Green: “The Bears are who we thought they were … That’s why we
took the damn field. If you want to crown ’em, then crown their ass. But
they are who we thought they were.”

Herm Edwards: “You play to win the game. Hello? Play to win the game. If
you start telling me it doesn’t matter, then retire, get out cause it
matters.”

Norv successor, John division

Rivers talk
Love Philip Rivers’ intensity, commitment to family and faith. But time
for Bolts fans to admit that, right now, No. 17’s not an elite
quarterback. He’s not even a Top 10 QB.

QB ratings game

This Just In’s Top 10 NFL QBs (based on currently ability): 1. Aaron
Rodgers; 2 Eli Manning; 3. Tom Brady; 4. Drew Brees; 5. Peyton Manning;
6. Joe Flacco; 7. Ben Roethlisberger; 8. Matt Schaub; 9. Alex Smith; 10.
Tony Romo.

“I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any
party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in
anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such addiction
is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to
heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all.”

Not enough bandwidth on the Internet to compile this entire list. The converse (coaches I would prefer Norv Turner to) would be a much shorter list:
