He looks like he is out of position most of the time and the only time he
defends a pass is when it hit him in the back.
FWIW, I've seen a couple really nice physical plays out of him. I
almost wonder if he could play safety...?
Nah, way too early to relegate 1st round corner to safety duty. :)
I never saw him play but he was in the WAC. It is a hair below most
of the majors.
He is willing to play football. I think he just falls asleep & is
used to being able to recover with his speed. As bad a tackler as
Cromartie is we need him in there.
I didn't see him in college. Don't watch that 2nd tier conference at
all. But he was highly acclaimed and has natural talent. We've seen
other 1st round picks at CB struggle initially and then rise to all
Pro levels. Revis was nothing special his first season (granted not
as undisciplined as Wilson... after all he came from a top program).
Gotta give this kid time. And teach him to turn to look at the ball
for Pete's sake.
Tut, maybe I am dreaming but I thought by week 4 Revis looked like
seasoned pro.
I am not pessimistic as I was early on with Lowery because he has the
speed Lowery just doesn't have. We will probably lose Cromartie so we
better hope he improves.
It was Schott's fault. If his WR's were running faster in pre-season
Wilson would have been ready.
