bURf, thanks, I wanted to jump in and ask everyone to ignore.

On an related note Firefox used to have an add on to block idiots &
spam. I can't seem to find it. Anyone know what it is called?

Good call. I've seen first hand what a team's success brings to a
newsgroup. Believe it or not, but the Pats NG used to actually be
habitable once...

It's called greasemonkey and it requires you to enter a script for
blocking on usenet. I use to use it until I bought a new computer and
never bothered to download it again, I just don't think it's all that
useful as it didn't work half the time. Maybe it was the script I was
using.

This dispicable behavior that the internet did not invent...but certainly
encouraged with the courage of annonymity has killed a lot of good
information sources. I once used a guitar group and got fantastic
information. I even made some contacts and wound up writing a song with one
guy from that group. Today, it is completely useless because of all the
buffoons waiting for someone to take their bait and enhance their dull,
meaningless lives. These trolls are the same puffed up blow hard drunks
sitting in the same spot night after night at a bar, they are the whiny,
scared mama's boy who hides in the basement with his stamp collection and
they are the personality disordered slugs who only take pleasure in
inflicting pain on someone else. PLONK is the best answer. Just don't
answer them.

No, but what's your typo rate on 10 or 11 key strokes? I think you
might confuse google.

If you're using a real newsreader, it almost certainly has a killfile or
scorefile capability. If you're using google groups, you should
probably switch to a real newsreader. ;-) I've heard good things about
Forte Agent (buRford's reader) but never used it.
