As usual, a 100 point difference means the higher rated
teams wins 62.5% of the time; 200 pts: 75%; 300 pts: 85%;

The ratings don't take into account who lost or won
recently, it's a measure of total performance up to now.
Houston and the Giants have the same record, against
similar strength teams. The fact that Houston is ranked
4 points higher means little, since even if they were
100 points higher that would only mean that they would
win about 60 games out of 100 against the Giants.

Should Baltimore be ranked above the Jets because Baltimore
beat them? The Bucs have one loss, like the Ravens, but the
Ravens lost to a mediocre 2-3 team, the same team that lost
to the Bucs. Unless the Bucs lose to a mediocre/bad team
or lose a lot of games period, they will be ranked pretty
high. I don't think the Bucs are nearly as good as the
Ravens either, but until they prove they are bad it won't
show in these rankings.
