one thing is who is there to hire?
Spittle Jaw? Gilbride? the coaching cupboard seems rather bare.
a big personality gets tiresome without success to back it up.

Having one coach's number isn't enough and BB did win against him.
he did okay with Griese and Palmer, but I wouldn't call being adequate
winning.

silly about rex... he is well liked and i cant imagine playoff's in
both of his first two years would earn him a pink slip. what "team
rex" needs i think is a good draft next year with a DE on the top of
the grocery list. i am also thinking that rex really needs to evolve
into more of a hc. i love rex and the bluster and all the fun stuff,
but his team shows itself to be very undisciplined. that is all rex.
big things are made of small details... like the general told his
officers... for lack of a nail a horse shoe could be lost and then the
whole battle.
as far as galey... why galey ??? he's only had a year and the bills
offense has been productive. the team he took over was very slim on
talent. i think he needs a few seaons to build. some of the stuff
they did on offense was nifty.
coughlan is a good coach but I agree he and the giants need a new
start.
norv. one of my favorite offensive coordiators but does not seem to
do well in the big chair. i think with the talented teams norv has
had in sd, he came up well short of what a better hc would have done.
i think chucky would fit well in san diego and spittle chin would be
ideal for the giants.
he knows football.
but there is more to coaching than that.
his team is sick of him and has stopped listening.
I'm all for firing Rex and bringing in Cowher! That being said, its
not going to happen. Woody is in love with the publicity that Rex and
his rag tag team brings him. Also with Cowher, Tanny would be gone
because Cowher has his own financial people and I believe they come
together in a package.

I agree.

Shanny will be there at least one more season.

Norv has been surviving on the talent and abilities of Rivers, I
believe Norv will be gone at seasons end.

Yep, bare it is.
Who gives a flying fuck?
I head he is a genius....the next Vince....somebody should grab him up
quick.

Perhaps, but it doesn't seem like the Jets players or management are
tiring of it yet. It seems like the players love him, and he's
successful enough for management. I think Ryan's 100% safe this season.

no way, cowher will stay down south near his home. he will likely consider
either the fish, the cowgirls or the tits, in no particular order of
preference.
