interesting move with richardson... yet another bite taken out of the
team's leadership ??? they must be really high on this terminator guy
to ditch richardon... i'd gather richardon will have a new gig
shortly. and good riddance to clowney. nice to have that roster spot
cleared up for a contributor.

I'm sorry to see Richardson go. I think they need some on the field leaders
and some veteran stability. It would be nice to see Chauncey make the PS at
least, I think he can become a player. Clowney had his chances and blew it.
I'm still disappointed that McNight is apparently going to be part of the
team.

I'm serious....it is an important issue I believe. It is also critical in
the locker room. This is not, contrary to what some may think, a typical
job...and it ain't an accounting office...not on the field. All the years I
was part of the game, a fairly long time, I always felt team leaders were
critical. Guys I have spoken with who played in the NFL felt the same.

As a fellow coach and obviously a better athlete and player, I have to
defer to you in football.
But in most groups of men working for a common goal, it has been my
observation that with strong leadership at the top, and appropriate
strategy if there is enough talent, "leaders" surface.
Again, that may not be applicable to football.
