I cannot watch this team.

They are making the Dolphins look like champions after they were unable
to score much against the Vikes.

After a brilliant start, Rex and Pettine were taken apart.

Eric Smith is a POS. So is Howard Green. Both are worthless. The fact
they are on the team, active and on the field is a slam on Rex'
judgement.

Shott and Rex were ill prepared as evidenced by all the false starts.

Lowery and Wilson are being made to look like incompetents.

This is not worth staying up late for.

I don't care whether or not they win. They are not good enough to
dominate a so-so team.

They are like a B-movie. Better than Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, but
not up for any awards.

???

Since when are false starts on the coaches? That's completely 100% on
the player.

They may BE incompetents. I've never seen anything out of either of
them to suggest otherwise.

I think you CONTINUE to grossly underestimate this Dolphins team...

Absolutely, the Fins are very well coached, Henne is becoming a good QB and
the O line is much better than the Jets O line.....OMHO...but I really think
I'm right, the Fins are not a weak team.

the fish were a lot tuffer than i expected. their play calling and
execution on offense was brilliant. not having revis was an issue, but
the fish have major brainpower. they did the exact right thing
agaisnt every look the jet d gave them. the fish offense is good
enough to move the ball on any defesne.

I think you can...he'll get better...he is already way better than he was a
year ago....a little more time and he'll get that stuff, and he has one of
the best QB guys around.

the jets d under rex over-commits and henning knows when and how they
will do it. if your defensive call works out, it is "agressive". if
it does not and you get burned, it is called "over-commiting" i
always say before rex plays henning that they should dial it down and
play gap control and zone blitz. only against the fish.

Harlan I see this was sent last night. Here is what I saw:

1. Sanchez played well. In fact he played very well &Greene & LT ran
the ball. What happens when Holmes comes back.
2. Smith showed again why I liked him from day one. When are teams
going to realize that you kick short high bal;ls on kick offs. If you
give him space he is dangerous.
3. The defense played a different game yesterday but we get Pace back
soon which will help everyone.

H, if the Jets threw the flag on the Fins 1st drive i think this game
could have been an easy one. MZ is right the Fins have a good team &
good coaches. Remember, Nolan knows Ryan as well as anyone.

I remember Harlan doing this before and the the Jets winning a great
game.
So, if he wants to act like a petulant 4 year old and go to bed early
don't discourage him : )

I wouldn't give the brain trust too much credit. They keep sticking the
wildcat in there at the worst possible times, and it isn't really
working anymore. Then when they can use it, like on the goal line, they
throw the ball 3 times. They're play calling has been horrible at times.

It seems like whenever these 2 get together they score points no matter
how good the defenses are.

could be... though, henne has somthing that clemens does not. dan
henning. i'd guess they game for henne's strengths. it heps make him
look good. though, i gotta say... clemens looked good in his last
outing in the preseason. he was moving a lot better.

Harlan,

I hope you don't have Dr Kervorkian's tel # on speed dial... That was
reminiscent of the old Marino/O'Brien games. Not as crazy but somewhat
similar. Take a deep breath and just enjoy the football...

Not to worry. I just went to bed. The idea of staying up late when I
felt the Jets were not playing well or smart made no sense to me.

I had just a little less pleasure watching the remainder on DVR this
morning (ain't technology great?)

I realize it was hot and humid down there but the idea of playing Eric
more than Poole makes no sense to me. The penalties drove me nuts too.

Well, earlier I posted that this team would have the option of choosing
whether to be 1-2 or 2-1. I like their choice.

Maybe the Fish are much better than I think but I will wait out the
results before I get on that bandwagon.
