Aren't the Saints a strict 4-3?

terms like "hybrid" and "34" OLB "two gap DT" "three technique" have
their place, but after all, a quality football player is still a
quality football player on any team in any system. these days, so
many of the defenses out there like jets, saints, ravens, steelers
have so many looks and packages that there is a need for any style of
guy just so long as he plays great like vilma and abraham.

You know I didn't even look. Last year they ran both. This year t
looks like the base is a 4-3.

Don't miss Vilma, still a horrible open field tackler, but I do miss
Farrior and even more, Abraham and Ferguson; Mawae was still very good
and did go to the probowl with the Titans.

I watched and the only thing I could think of was that SO many players leave
the Jets and go on to do amazing things....they "just didn't fit the system"
or they "may never recover" from an injury...the list of reasons goes
on...but all it really says is that the people who judge talent elsewhere do
a Hell of a lot better job at it than whoever has been doing it for the Jets
over the last few years...and even way before that. There have to be a lot
of guys here who have had experience with the corporations or businesses,
schools or whatver that no matter how they changed leadership they still
kept a certain identity and atmosphere associated with that identity. Could
this be an issue with the Jets? For some reason, it seems to me they let
far too many very good players move on, and don't recognize how good they
are. Vilma could very well be the answer to what is wrong with Rex's D
right now...they need a LB who can cover in the short zones, and they don't
have one.

He was one of the few LB's around who could always cover from sideline to
sideline and never gave up....I was very disappointed when he left, I really
liked him.

I always felt like he was doing what he was supposed to do..he often had a
lot of responsibilities to the outside because he could get there and move
well....He definitely is being used the right way in NO.

I remember was not even a good player, let alone the one that you're
creaming over now, IIRC, he made one, ONE, great tackle in his last
year with the Jets, near our goal line, that everyone agreed at the
time was unusual for him. As for your lover, Hobson, well where is he
now, ejit? Out of the league, that's where. But he was great with
the Jets, right? Moron. Didn't think anyone from the Bronx could be
