I didn't get to watch the whole game (west coastie, gotta put kids to
bed), but that last quarter or so was so painful to watch. Though as a
long-time Jets fan I should know they'll find a way to give the game
away if they can. But WTF? The Jets had *horrible* clock management
before the two minute warning--that is completely unacceptable. Even if
they don't make a first down on that drive, they should at least be able
to run the clock down to under 90 seconds there.

On one hand, good teams find ways to win when they don't play so well.
OTOH, good teams don't need to struggle to win when the offense scores
six times. And on the Favre issue--again, on one hand, if it hadn't
rained early on, perhaps Favre would have been better for longer, but
OTOH, he was starting to look really tired late in the fourth quarter.

As an aside, do the guys get to change at halftime, or does it simply
take too long to get in and out of their uniforms? Those guys looked
absolutely soaked.

I guess in summary, it's going to be a heart-attack inducing season yet
again.
