It was reported little if at all that LaDainian would provide team
leadership. Fortunately, he has, and I think it's helped the Jets
focus on taking care of business rather than buying into all the hype.
I think he's rubbed off on the team, and perhaps most importantly,
Sanchez.
Additionally he provides the Jets with a receiving option out of the
backfield lacking with TJ. In the final drive v. Miami he had a key
reception for a first down. Collinsworth said after the play if
Schotty told Sanchez if he calls a shot it doesn't mean you take it.
If it's not there look for your check down. Like Al Michaels said, a
"HOF check down." Later that drive LT rips off a 20-yard run around
the end before plunging into the end zone basically icing the game. I
don't think TJ can make a run like that.
LT is TJ and much more.
