I hate this guy. He misses Favre on the blitz. He is on the field
doing nothing on the TD. He is the worst possible position player on
this team.

It is ridiculous to hope a Jet gets hurt. But, I do. I hates this POS.

We have safety issues. I am not sure if it is Leonard's fault but he
seems step behind the play at times. Maybe he is getting over covering
for someone else? They did put in wrist bands for the secondary
because guys were in the wrong coverage. Pool was beat on the Hearvin
2nd TD and Smith is Smith.

I noticed the safety problem too. Especially the Pool gaffe on the
Harvin TD.

But Brodney makes plays occasionally. Eric is just too slow. When he
blitzes, he is someone the other team does not have to account for
because he is slow, easily held up by passed gas, and will whiff on the
tackle even if the Qb is a 41 year old dude. On run plays, he cannot
seal the edge (see the AP's long run to the left of his line and who is
not sealing the edge (I thought there was holding but if Erik was faster
and stronger, a big OL would have had a harder time hiding that or
stopping him.

Unlike Brodney, Erik is late to plays and then often commits a penalty
(see hit on Welker after the ball passed both).

I challenge anyone who DVR'd the game to find a play where Erik was a
key difference maker as a positional player.

You're kidding right? That jump up and chest bump after the Lowery pick 6
was a thing of beauty ;-)
