Note that even with Revis they have the Jets as only an 8.8 wins
strength team, barely over .500, with a 52% chance of making the
playoffs.
Their detailed predictions are way "over exact", but their overall
picture of a top CB being worth about 20 points per season, maybe one
win, is reasonable and right in line with a lot of other analysis.
gotta consider the style of defense... conventional 43 or read and
react 34, not such a big deal. the defense that was run by the jets
last year would be out more than 20 points in a season without a top
of the line cover cb. they would be out of business all together.
the jets can still field a good defense without revis, but not the
SAME defense...
I'm surprised some of Revis' Jets teammates don't go pay him a visit
and kick some ass. Kind of like in "Major League" when Tom Berenger
visited Corbin Bernsen at his mansion...
