Don't you just love it when Rex's mind games come back to bite him?
Franchez is re-learning that long list of checkdowns. He's a quick
study, I'm sure he'll have no problem with it....

Harlan, what I always wondered was why the Jets didn't try to use him as
a slot receiver, a la Welker and Edelman. I wonder if this is what the
Pats have in store for him.

Or maybe they're just pumping him for information.

This is just what the Pats need, an undersized fast white guy who
catches passes.

To me....it's complete misues of the available tools.....he has weapons and
only has a couple specific plays to use them.....and then has some players
with some talent that never get used, and then get cut.

It's possible that he's just messing with Rex. I'll be interested to
see if the Pats make him a team captain today, just like the Jets did
with Kevin O'Connell last year when they faced the Pats.

Possible but I think they really need him. Maroney's spot has to
be filled, and Taylor and Morris are injury-prone, plus he can
do special teams, which is important in BB's system.

Odd choice if they're looking for a replacement for Maroney. I think
they're content with 4 guys running the ball.

I still can't figure out why they waited until Friday to sign him though.
