Jenks is a great guy but...
He's done, he can't stay healthy and the Jet's need to look at
replacing him.

There is research supporting both sides of this argument but I have to
believe it helps lineman.

At his price tag, yeah. We'll see how serious he is about coming back
if he accepts a major pay cut.

Burf, my son tore his ACL this year. I asked about braces. At least
Ben's surgeon thought they were worthless as regards avoiding recurrence
yet allowing one to participate in games requiring twisting motion.
And, I suspect, that anyone Jenkins size having his left bent into a
pretzel is likely to experience significant internal damage as he did
whether it was the first regular season game or the last.

b, funny you should post this. Today an orthopod was on sports radio.
He was saying that there is quite a bit of evidence saying the knee
brace doesn't make a difference. He was saying it was solid research
but he has seen many cases of anecdotal evidence that it helps with
lineman.

I gave up taping & using braces on my ankles years ago when my doc
said it wouldn't help.
