And I'm sure by now, Pratt and his merry band of gay trolls have taken
Stewart's advice.

In any event, the man sure knows what gives Pats players and pats fans
comfort. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Not a tough catch for a life long Giants fan!

the Giants fans I know are frothing. Completely irrational. Comments
like "get yer own friggin' stadium" out of exasperation.

>>As a Giants fan, how are you feeling about the Jets run?

>>I know a bunch of Giant fans, that are on intravenous Tums ;)

It doesn’t bother me that much, I'm upstate so I don't get a lot of razzing
from Jets fans.
My son attends Marist College in Poughkeepsie and he says he is taking a lot
of crap from Jets fans.
I have to admit, I did have fun at work and was behind a plan to attach
flames to a coworkers Jets football after the loss to the Dolphins.

I can’t say I'm a big Rex fan but some of that can be traced back to his
father's tenure with the Eagles.
Maybe I'd have felt differently if he had ended Gilbride's career rather
than just sucker punched him.

There is probably some jealousy in the equation for me, it is frustrating
that it seems like the Giants have had so much talent these past 5 years and
have only the one run to show for it. I don’t think Coughlin has gotten the
most out of the talent he's had to work with.

Honestly at first I said I would root for the Steelers but at this point I'm
about neutral.
I'm not a fan of Big Ben or Hines Ward or Harrison for that matter. I sure
wish we had Woodley at LB though!
It is interesting that the Jets run does seem to resemble the Giants in
2007, the Giants appeared to be in trouble at times that year, I was ready
for them to give up on Eli after the Vikings 4 pick game. If only TC had
retired and Spags had been promoted!

A coworker asked me if I was coming over to the green side today, not yet
but I might be leaning a little that way.

I have to admit he took it well and didn't razz me after the Giant collapse
against the Eagles.

: Rex is one of those guys ya love, if he's on your team... and hate if he's
against you.
: But he really knows his shat, and how he has turned this team around, in
the past few
: weeks, raising their play to a different level - - having watched all
their games, it's
: kinda amazing how he changed direction, on a dime. Just the D alone, he
changed it in one
: week... and the players bought in.

Agreed.

passed, since I
: witnessed anything near this ;)

I hear you, but the end of the 2008 season really sucked. They looked so
good up until the Plax incident.
My son called a friend of his who is a Pats fan after the Pats Jets game,
well actually it took ten or so calls for him to pick up : ) .
He asked him how it felt to be the first seed and lose in the first round.

I really appreciated 2007 as my son was able to share it with me. My dad
died in 1983 and the Giants pretty much sucked during the time I watched
them with him. I wish he could have experienced the good times with me.

:
: If ya have NY in your blood, and aren't petty (you don't seem you are),
you'll probably be
: rootin' a bit for the good guys. Even just to show some mercy to the
dinosaur Jets fans,
: who've been starvin' for so many lives ;)
Well I've been starving for Dinosaurs BBQ for a long time, they finally
opened a place upstate so good things do come to those that wait!

: It should be a good game.

Hopefully,
Good luck

I saw it when it happened. Yeah I guess he didn't exactly try to sneak up on
him. ;)

| Yeah, I know that's a biggie.
| If not for going to Jets games with my dad, as a kid, I probably
would nver have gotten to
| know him, since he worked endlessly. All the other sports I used to
follow, I've lost
| interest in, over the years... but, not the Jets. Part of the
reason I've put myself
| through this mush, staying a Jets fan all these years, is as a
result of that... just
| another thing keeping my dad alive inside me.
|
| >

I know the feeling, burf. My Dad and I made nearly every game from
1976 through 2001, when his illness made it impossible for him to
attend. I still occasionally feel odd showing up without him.
