No way we back into these playoffs.
Pittsburgh needs to win to ensure it gets in. So do we. Chicago has to
win too. So do we.
If we cannot beat these two playoff caliber teams, who cares.
Good scheduling NFL.
While I would not have minded clinching a berth by sweeping Miami and
then the Jills, since the Jets screwed the pooch against the Fish, I
like the hard way better this year.
Depressing to be a Jets fan. Be that as it may, I hope everyone gets to
spend time with their families and loved ones (and that for most of you
they are the same) and has a safe, healthy and joyous XMas (or birthday
if you are like me and mine).

I like the hard way because it may embarrass Woody enough to do
something....and maybe listen to someone who can give him good information
about what he needs to do.
my two cents... the jets best chance at a win between pitt and chicago
is chicago... the steelers will get help from the refs and the jets d
struggles against teams that can run and pass... the bears have the
martz style of offense wich is easy meat for the jets style of
defense... what the jets defense is best against is the verticle
version of the west coast like the coryell, norv turner and martz
stuff... what they want to avoid having to play is the modified short
version of the west coast like the pats current offense. that offense
was born to blow appart max pressre press coverage... just another
wild guess on my part, but i think BB started working on that offense
during his plane ride home from his loss to the jets earliers this
season..IMHO, that offense was built to wipe out the jets defense.
