Go back and re-read the last six entries and then let it
sink in that we are only just now getting to the Jets.
Also, there are two quarterbacks left to go. Sanchez
did hit Jeremy Kerley for a 43-yard gain from the 50, which
technically counts as Seattle's half of the field. Beyond
that point, though, he went 0-for-4 with an interception
and a sack. Sanchez's first third-down pass was a 10-yard
gain on third-and-9. That was his only third-down completion
of the day. After that, he went 0-of-6 with an interception
and two sacks. This was not the worst third-down performance
of the week either. While I'm here, I'll mention that Tim Tebow
had more touches than he has in any game this season. He went
3-of-3 passing for 8 yards, one first down, and 12 DYAR. And
he rushed four times for 14 yards, two first downs, and 6 DYAR.

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan emphatically stood behind
quarterback Mark Sanchez after their 28-7 loss to the Seattle
Seahawks. Sanchez completed just nine passes and threw for 124
yards and an interception.
The Jets� offense scored zero points with Sanchez under center and
had just 11 first downs. New York�s defense scored the team�s only
touchdown.
Still, Ryan immediately gave Sanchez a vote of confidence to remain
the starter.
�I�m not going to let anyone else convince me otherwise, because
this is how I feel,� Ryan said after the game. �[Sanchez] gives us
the best opportunity to win games and that�s the only reason I make
any moves.�
Is Tim Tebow really that bad?
Based on Ryan�s comments, inserting Tebow would make the offense
even worse than with Sanchez. If Sanchez still provides New York
the best chance to win, then Tebow must really look horrible in
practice.
Only Ryan and his coaching staff know exactly what they have in
Tebow. It�s clear they think Sanchez is better than Tebow, despite
the fact Sanchez is regressing mightily in his fourth season.
If Tebow can�t outperform what Sanchez is currently doing, then New
York wasted its time and resources acquiring Tebow.

Or Rex is being stubborn by not playing him. He has a history for playing the wrong guy. In fact, you don't have to look too far back in history. It was only a matter of weeks ago that he continued to insist on playing Hunter over Howard. Stubbornness. It might be a byproduct of his "loyalty" to players. Makes you wonder if guys like Shonn Greene, Bart Scott, and Erik Smith should still be getting the reps they're getting when the guys behind them look better to my naive eyes.

Mark... This is such a *SERIOUS* question, I did not care to go near it for fear of the anwer and what it means.

IMHO, It was Rex that destroyed the roster. That is not *FATAL* for Rex as a HC. It means that he is not a GM. Simple solution... Keep him cooking in the kitchen and send a real GM the grocery store.
As far as insisting on playing guys like Green, LT, Scott, Smith, Sanchez, etc when better options were available due to EITHER being loyal or trying to prove out an idea that you had... a FLAWED JUDGMENT... Well... That is FATAL as far as Rex's HC status goes.
If that is the case... And it may very well be... Rex's HC days are numbered.
I hate to say it, but this is EXACTLY what that little jeark-off from the Ravens NG was in here saying when the Jets hired Rex. He said the Ravens passed him over because they knew his ego and pride would put good sense in the back seat.
