Unlike most early first round busts ... he is a character guy ... I don't know why he's failed so far ... although Oakland was a zoo that anyone could fail in ... I guess I can accept a young man away from home and missing his family ... But if he's to turn his career around ... the Giants offer all he needs ...

One thing I don't understand. He realized in Oakland how far away his
family was in North Carolina. But, before that he played for Seattle.
Isn't that just as far from North Carolina?

I hope he works out for the Giants, but their history with previously
injured players is not very positive.

Yeah, Jeff. I was thinking the same thing. The closest thing I can
remember to an injured guy making a serious contribution was that LB
from Penn State, Warrington or something that started to play really
well before he got hurt again. Can anyone come up with a better
example?

I think you are referring to Lavar Arrington.
