On a more serious note, tonight's game was absolutely atrocious. We
were dominated in every facet of the game. How the hell did we win 6
games?

less do anything if we get there?
The only positive thing I can think of from tonight's game is that
Tynes did not miss a field goal. That's it...that's all I got.

Many of us saw the trend after the NO game, and then the Philly game and
most were just waiting for it come to fruition.
If the 4 of the first 5 wins over the 4 worst teams in the league had been
spread out over 10 weeks, the giants would have one and lost almost equally
and we'd be 6-5 (or worse). Being 5-0 at ranked #1 and being "the best team
in the NFL" by some left the team thinking they were way better than they
were. They had nothing to prove. Being told they aren't very good or lower
ranked and making them prove it worked better in 07.
This year they were one play and a coin-toss from being 4-7. They played
tonight exactly as if they had that record.
I don't see them winning the next 2 and at that point, what's to play for?
That's why it might play out for a 6-10 finish.
It was a nice playoff run for 5 years, although all but one was a one and
done ending, one as a first seed and the other a shutout.

Right - much harder to beat a team twice than split 2. Did you watch Dallas
play today? They're playing way better than we are. They had enough points
in the Greenbay and Redskins game to beat us today too.
I hope they win but I've seen too much in the past 6 games to even think
they will.
Remember there's a big difference from *thinking* what the outcome of a game
will be or a team's record will be than *wanting* a particular outcome. I'd
love for them to win out but I don't think right now that they'll win any
game this year. And I wouldn't bet that way either.

I didn't see the Raiders wins, and I don't understand how they won
them. Then again, if I only saw the Giants play tonight, I wouldn't
have understood how they won before either. But I must say that the
kid the Raiders started at QB today was a lot better than the bonus
baby that played against the Giants. He was horrendous.

Right now the Giants are a bad football team. There is no phase of
their game that is playing well right now. Unless something changes
drastically i don't know how they can possibly beat a good football

I guess 10 year olds write the tie breaker system then, because common
opponents is one of them. Margin of victory is also a tie breaker and
is used to rank teams in College ball.
And if that don't float your boat, how about beating the very same
team head to head on the road? Or how about Dallas narrowly avoiding
getting shut out 2 games in a row recently , ONCE VS THE REDSKINS AT
HOME. They don't scare me in the least. Our own team scares me more.
To me Philly has been our nemesis since the beginnig of the century,
not the cowshits who havn't even won a playoff game in said century .
They are in first, but I can see that house of cards starting to
crumble.

Some of the Dallas media types are preparing for the Cowboys' annual
"December Swoon." Their December schedule looks pretty rough too so it
is a real possibility. I sure hope the Giants contribute to the
Cowboys demise, because it will be 20 times harder watching the Giants
play this uselessly against the Cowboys than it was watching last
night's bed-shitting debacle.
They have a week-and-a-half to get ready. If they can't get fired up
and prepped for the team they say they hate the most, well...
