Goodbye Burt Farver
Though I never knew you at all
You had no grace to not retire on time
While those around you
They crawled out of the NFL network
And they whispered into your brain
They made you embarrass yourself
And they made you ruin the game

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing when to retire
When men should give in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

Retiring was tough
The toughest role you ever played
The NFL created a superstar
And pain was the price you paid
Even when you sucked
Oh the press still hounded you
All the papers had to say
Was that Britt could still throw a few

Goodbye Bart Favreaux
From the young man in the 22nd row
Who sees you as something as more than awful
More than just a has been pro.

Likely plagiarized by mr. dude. He's not that clever.

Favre is like 40 years old and has 400 million dollars in his bank? I do
not think he will be sad for long. Maybe he can even move out of
Mississippi, for Christ's sake.

It was original material done by yours truly.

Look for it on sports websites tomorrow claiming that "they" came up
with it.

The same as "Going Gillooly" and "Tampa Bay Opens The Champagne" posts
that I have made in the past.

we'll leave incestuous behavior like that to your family as they have
obviously trained you well.
