Actually in this case Casey Anthony probably did it. That having
been said the prosecution failed big time to prove their case..
They didn't know the cause of death for the child.

(accidental or premeditated). Also they are clueless as to the location
where the child died.
From the onset I didn't see this as being a case that could ever have been
proven by the prosecution, especially after meter reader Kronk admitted to
tampering with the evidence (remains and crime scene). I'm convinced he
removed the remains from the scene at one location only to return them to
the swamp area nearby after the reward amount increased to $200,000.00. He
should have been charged instead of receiving immunity by the prosecution
who then failed to call him as their own state's witness. Casey's parents
George & Cindy Anthony, both should have been charged with perjury.
Like you said, ample supply of reasonable doubt for that jury to return a
Not Guilty in less than 12 hours of deliberations. The jury was correct. The
defense team did an outstanding job. The lead prosecutor himself should have
retired as he had planned prior to taking this case... since he had none.
I also found the alleged evidence of suffocation via the duct tape as was
found over the skulls nose and mouth to have been ludicrous. How could the
tape remain stuck to those areas once the skin had decayed? I never heard
the defense, the talking heads or the police investigators make that
observation and statement.
More likely that Kronk moving the bag of remains caused the tape to come
into contact with both the child's hair and her skull within the bag before
he dumped it into the swamp water before calling the cops.

Unfortunetly the prosecution is stuck with case as it presents itself.
They can't choose the witnesses, the evidence, etc.
They neede an absolute cause of death.

The jury did have the option of "Aggravated Manslaughter" open to them.
Without a cause of death I don't see how "Involuntary Manslaughter" could
have been an option had that been a choice, ...which it was not.

I missed your comment above in my other response to this posting. I'm not
certain what your statement references however, ...George Anthony? or,
Kronk?
I was addressing George Anthony and his denial of an affair with Miss "River
Cruz". His text messages and USPS letters to her are the best evidence of
his antics while alleged to be torn up over his missing grand daughter.
In Kronk's case, he admitted to picking up the gray/white bag that the skull
spilled out of. He also testified that he used a stick to lift the skull off
the ground via it's eye cavity.
