So far I heard, for his vote, a CT pol got a few hundred million for a
new Hosp.
There were other payoffs for votes. Can anyone add to the list? TIA

Not to worry, you'll be hearing about them from the Republican
Congresspeople soon enough. They vowed to expose those who had their vote
bought well before the November elections.

Don't forget the Billions of dollars the republicans tack onto
defense bills for guns that don't shoot, planes that don't fly, etc.

Yes it could be your son that gets killed through faulty equipment
purchased by the republicans.

of course don't forget that alot of the republicans had their votes
bought and
paid for by big pharm, big medical, and big insurance.

Most of the republicans are owned by big insurance, big medical, and
big pharm..

What's your point? If it's that pols of both parties are crooks,
FINE. Otherwise, admit that there has been
some spectacular bribery and coercion going around the HC Bill or just
stfu. TIA

Yes both parties are crooks. The difference here is that this health
care bill was not supported by the majority of Americans, yet the Dems
went totally partisan in their attempts to ram it through, using every
arcane method they could to get it done. In other bills that were
passed, the public supported it and/or there was some bipartisanship in
voting for them. Not a single Republican voted for this, and 34 Dems
(13.4%) voted against it.

Hey, Obambi said he wanted a bi-partisan bill and he got it.
Unfortunately for him it was bi-partisan in the wrong direction.
