Kraft is getting just what he deserves. When BUF is 12-4 and Milloy is
going to the pro-bowl (yet again), and NWE is 4-12 and has nobody going to
the pro-bowl; I say Kraftard sucks as a businessman and did everything he
could to ruin this season. He did not go after a RB with real cash (Davis
is a perfect example of that), and he allowed his employees to cut a
pro-bowl player. Those two issues in themselves could be a season killer.
And yes, I may be venting here; but this team is a disappointment.

Why is everyone blaming Kraft? This was clearly Belichick's decision and,
in my opinion, it was a bad one. Although I am sure it had to be cleared
with Kraft, I doubt Kraft is going to go against the football decisions that
Belichick makes. If Grier were GM, Kraft would have probably approved a bad
salary negotiation, but this smacked of Belichick's philosophy.

Kraft doesn't get involved unless the player is caught behaving badly
off the field. He learned from the Carroll/Grier years that he will
take nothing but abuse if he gets more involved in the management of
the team. Everything has been turned over to Belichick.
Kraft does not deserve this abuse. He has never balked at shelling
out the bucks for players if the coach/GM tells him to. The guy built
a stadium here with his own money. By all rights, there should not be
a franchise here at all, but fortunately for New England, Bob Kraft
has the bizarre need to be beloved in the Boston area. Again, this
guy had hundreds of millions of dollars on the table in Connecticut
for a stadium, and decided to take it out of his own pocket instead.
You really think for one nanosecond that this guy would balk at the
$600,000 separating negotiations between Belichick and Milloy's agent?
It's Belichick, period. Kraft's only crime is not overruling him, but
again there's no way he'll ever step in again after all the abuse he
took in the post-Parcells years.

Lark you seem to be revelling in the byproduct of Belichik's
self-made misfortune this week? Why's that? ;-)
I agree with you, Kraft simply is staying out of the football
picture. If he didn't step up for Bledsoe he certainly wasn't going
to do it for Milloy.
I've heard the story about Milloy hanging up on Kraft when Kraft
tried to call him after the cut a couple of times now. Can anyone
confirm this?

decision.
BB and his staff makes the personnel decisions... If over a long period of
time -- and a Super Bowl win creates awfully good will -- BB does a
terrible job then he will be fired. But in terms of personnel decision, no
one disputes BB has complete control.
Kraft got what he deseved when the Patriots won the Super Bowl. Bob Kraft
is one of the best pro sports owners in the past 20 years in New England.
