I saw your post about that website so I thought I would check it out...
Looked like a good group of fellas - present company notwithstanding ;-)
So I made a profile and am now posting there as well as here... I did not,

I like the posts over there but can't stand the format... but I have to say
the first thread I saw was bashing Pittsburgh fans and the next two were
bashing Ron Borges... So I broke down, started weeping, and proclaimed "My

What is it you think I didn't get? My reply had nothing to do with
what you think of Quiggy. Instead (I knew I'd have to explain this to
you), it had to do with the fact that you comment lead perfectly into
mine.

Usually, rhetorical questions are meant to make a statement but put in
the form of a question. To put it in terms you'd understand, think of
it as Jeopardy, except without the questions or the points.

Sarcasm. (Most arguments, etc.)
I was mocking Quigon, your comment implied that it was to be taken at
face value. Your reply was obvious and awkward given that the original
remark was sarcastic. The equivalent of "I know you are, but what am
I?" from a third person perspective.

See, that's proof that you don't understand a whole lot. I explained
in my last post that the context in which you said what you did was
irrelevant. It could've been mocking, it could've been serious, it
could've been a fantasy. It didn't matter.
What I posted simply flowed from the words that you posted, not any
underlying meaning to them. Duh.
